VHA is a Registered Community Housing Provider (CHP) that aims to provide secure, affordable, long-term rental housing for Veterans and their families who are experiencing homelessness and/or financial hardship.
In accordance with government guidelines our rent is set by determining the lesser amount of 25% of your income or 75% of the market rental rate. Tenants are responsible for paying their utility costs (gas, electricity)
We currently own and maintain 100 properties state-wide in Victoria. The properties are in Mildura, Red Cliffs, Geelong, Rosebud, Noble Park, Bendigo, and Ballarat.
We aim to ensure our residents are housed comfortably and that we provide reliable avenues of communication to ensure we can address any concerns or enquires our residents may have. All rental payments and maintenance of our properties are managed by VHA.
