Brad Robertson, CSC, is the Chair of the organisation and a highly respected community and veteran advocate. Following a distinguished 28-year military career—including deployments to East Timor, Afghanistan, Aceh, and Malaysia—Brad has continued to serve the nation through leadership roles that strengthen veteran welfare, regional industry, and community wellbeing.

Brad’s strategic, values-driven approach to leadership has been recognised for driving transformational change, innovation, and collaboration across Defence and the broader community. He now brings that same focus to advancing the organisation’s mission and long-term sustainability.

Away from his professional commitments, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife, Kate, and their three children.

Sharon Coates is a Senior Development Manager and Colonel in the Australian Army Reserve with over 25 years’ experience in infrastructure delivery, community development, and strategic leadership.

Combining her expertise in engineering, project management, and military service, she is deeply committed to supporting veterans, mentoring young leaders, and building resilient communities

Lindsay Kotzman
Lindsay KotzmanDirector
Lindsay is the founder and senior partner of P&B Law, bringing extensive legal expertise and networks to the organisation.

Appointed to the board in 2020, he plays a key role in advancing Carry On’s strategic plan to expand its reach and impact for veterans. Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys cycling, skiing, football, and spending time with his wife and two teenage children.

Tamara Sloper-Harding, OAM
Tamara Sloper-Harding, OAMDirector
Tamara Harding is a former Royal Australian Navy officer with nearly 19 years of service, including operational deployments in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea, and Timor Leste as part of the Interfet peacekeeping force.

Her experiences in Timor Leste inspired a lifelong commitment to humanitarian work, particularly supporting orphanages and schools. Tamara has been recognised with multiple honours, including Pittwater Woman of the Year, the Rotary International Service Award, and an Order of Australia Medal for her contributions to community and international goodwill.
