On a picture-perfect Brisbane day, Veteran Housing Australia (VHA) hosted its 3rd Annual Golf Day—and what a day it was. With record participation, generous sponsorship, and a shared commitment to tackling veteran homelessness, the event was nothing short of a triumph.
A Record-Breaking Day on the Green
This year’s Golf Day welcomed the highest number of teams yet, showing just how much community support for veterans and their families continues to grow. Brisbane delivered on its promise of beautiful weather, setting the perfect scene for a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and purpose.
The atmosphere was electric. From the first tee-off to the final putt, players embraced the spirit of the event—friendly but competitive, with everyone united by one goal: raising vital funds to help end homelessness among Australia’s veterans.

Most importantly, the day broke fundraising records. Every swing, raffle ticket, and sponsorship contributed to an incredible outcome. These funds will go directly toward VHA’s mission of providing affordable, secure housing for veterans who have served our nation but now face the devastating challenge of homelessness.
Veteran homelessness remains a serious issue in Australia, with too many former servicemen and women struggling to find stability after service. Thanks to events like this, VHA can continue delivering housing solutions that give veterans not just a roof over their heads, but a solid foundation to rebuild their lives.
